Just got back from my date. She was slightly different in person (personality wise); she talked very fast and very talkative (which is good). We got some Japanese food ( I had yakitori and she had some salmon with rice). We talked a lot about food, school, and even cracked some Asian jokes at each other. We also got bubble tea after and walked and talked. It was a pretty short date, though. She wanted to get a run in before the sun went down, so we said our byes and headed our separate directions.
Although… somehow this felt very similar to past dates (meaning those dates didn’t really get past the first one). Maybe I’m just speculating too quickly. I’m still optimistic that maybe she would like to meet up again. How was your night, guys?

Well that sounds nice. I love Japanese food! Hopefully you hear back and if not well, onto the next one! haha I went to the gym last night and did cardio while watching Biggest Loser makeovers and before that had Nachos for dinner. Was a good night haha
@isitreal_no - She responded back and said that we can get together again when she comes back from business.
Mmmmm, nachos. Hahah. And get it, girl!
@laytexduckie - oooh that sounds good then she didn’t mind that orange shirt lol
@isitreal_no - Nope! I use it as a beacon. Hahaha.
@laytexduckie - hhahaha I didn’t think of that, maybe bright shirts are a good idea!
BEN YOU WENT ON A DATE TONIGHT?!!?!?! that is so exciting! I have been MIA for awhile, but I actually have never really had Japanese food before but I have heard the hype! I’m glad you had fun during the date though, but just try to remember that whatever will be, will be!!
@iiflyhigh - I DID, EM!!! You should get some Japanese food! It’s delish!
I didn’t end up going to Phuket with ‘A! afterall and we had this silly arguement but it’s all good and Eeeee your date sounds promising Ben but she talked too fast?! Must be the nerves & Eeeeep FOOD!!! Haha what a date.. No Asian date would be complete without BUBBLE TEA! hehe x
ThT is a great start. Wonder start a run routine will be good for further relationship? Since you seems to enjoy running and exercise.
Aww… sounds like you had a good time. Change your attitude when you go on dates, I’m sure each one would be different. My night was good. I met up with church friends for dinner. ^_^
@mellywelly15 – Hahah, I wish we had a Vietnamese restaurant around here named Phuket or Phoket. “Hey, where’d you wanna eat?”"Fuck it.”‘What?!”
Hahah, well, she mentioned that she might talk a bit fast, but I didn’t expect that fast. Hahah.
@stevew918 – Well, I do need to run more… though I much rather be inside with AC. But maybe! Hahah.
@Got_Takoyaki – That’s one of the things I thought. I thought that I might be too awkward because of how much or little I wish to divulge on a first date (which is usually more little because 1. I don’t want to put everything out on the table at once and 2. If I show my cynical humor too soon, it might scare her away. Hahah.).
Yay, fun with friends!
Awww sounds like it went great and you two hit it off!! I hope you guys have another date soon!!
@xraindropsonroses – Thanksss! I hope so too!
@laytexduckie - It wouldn’t be Vietnamese but Thai but Phoket sounds Viet and it does sound like a fantastic name for a restaurant that i would frequent. Hahah.
Hope the next date will be even better!
It sounds like it went well!!! If she’s talking fast she was probably nervous cause you stunned her with your sexy.
@ShimmerBodyCream – That could be one way to look at it. Or she got distracted by my orange shirt.
I was going to recommend an orange jumpsuit.
On a first date, it’s kinda hard to find a really good match. Phuket is Poo-ket (although that might not sound alright to her).
And thank you for the rec.
@ElusiveWords - I still like “Fuck It” better. Hahah.
